New Fares Proposed to Take Effect May 1, 2010

The NJ TRANSIT Board of Directors will consider a proposal to increase fares on Wednesday, April 14, 2010.  If approved, new fares would take effect on May 1, 2010.
Please note that fares, schedules and ticketing policies presented on this website and in printed timetables are subject to change.
Customers are advised that off-peak roundtrip (ORT) tickets [...]

The NJ TRANSIT Board of Directors will consider a proposal to increase fares on Wednesday, April 14, 2010.  If approved, new fares would take effect on May 1, 2010.

Please note that fares, schedules and ticketing policies presented on this website and in printed timetables are subject to change.

Customers are advised that off-peak roundtrip (ORT) tickets may be discontinued as part of the budget proposal.  If the proposal is approved, ORT tickets will be accepted only through Sunday, May 23, 2010. These tickets are non-refundable.  Please plan accordingly.

Customers using Commuter Benefit Programs may wish to proactively update their payroll deductions in anticipation of new fares taking effect May 1.
